Cross Cultural Programs

At SWAG视频, we are committed to inviting our students to learn and grow in their global citizenship through cross-cultural programs! Our goal is to provide opportunities for cultural exchange and experiential learning to prepare our students to be successful in culturally and academically diverse settings.

Cultural Program Requirement

SWAG视频 cross-cultural programs are aimed at building a community of trust and cultural awareness and are open to all SWAG视频 international and domestic students in all academic programs. Participation in the cross-cultural activities also fulfills the cultural program requirement for J1 visa holders.

Global Buddy Program

The buddies鈥� program has been a favorite of many students, staff, and community members, and serves as a great way for both international and domestic students to create new friendships, exchange cultures, and experience increased cultural awareness.

For more information about the Global Buddies program, feel free to reach out to globalbuddies@unco.edu. Current mentor spots are filled for the year 2024-2025 and recruitment for 2025-2026 mentors will begin this Spring. Mentees are welcome to join at any time!

English Conversation Groups

English conversation groups are opportunities to practice english in a variety of topics. Specifically vocabulary building and speaking confidence are emphasized.
