Finalists Announced for 2021 Entrepreneurial Challenge

The Monfort College of Business at the University of Northern Colorado has announced the finalists for the 2021 Entrepreneurial Challenge. All semifinalists presented their pitches in a virtual event on Feb. 9. Finalists from both the Open and Collegiate Divisions will virtually present their business concept to a panel of experts from 1-4 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24.

The following applicants were chosen to advance to the finals:

• Open Division Finalists: New Direction Packaging, MagnaShox, TissueForm, DiningTek
• Collegiate Division Finalists: SitRep, My Peace, Hawk Financial

In this educational event, pre-launch or early-stage Colorado businesses receive actionable advice on how to move their business ventures to the next level. Those in the Open Division have the opportunity to compete for a share of $50,000 in prize money, and those in the Collegiate Division compete for SWAGÊÓƵ scholarships.
