Summer Logistics for IRIS Onsite Session

Campus Information
Campus information is your go-to place for all things campus related. Get prepared for the summer onsite session.
Housing
All IRIS attendees will stay in campus housing. Assignments will be announced prior
to the onsite session.
Dining
IRIS Project will provide breakfast and lunch during the onsite session, June 24-26. Please refer to the daily onsite schedule to see which meals are on your own.
Several meals will be catered.
Notify IRIS Project of any dietary restrictions.
SWAGÊÓƵ ID Card
Your SWAGÊÓƵ ID card is your "key" to campus.
All participants will need to bring their previously issued student ID.
If you've lost or forgotten your card, there is a $15 replacement fee.
Transportation
You are responsible for making and paying for your own travel arrangements. Attendees who complete the onsite event will be given a $1000 travel allotment to help defray travel costs to and from Greeley, Colorado. The $1000 allotment will be provided 6-8 weeks after being onsite.

Program Information
Program information is your go-to place for all things related to your training during the summer onsite session.
Accommodations
Disability Resource Center (DRC) provides accommodations for the SWAGÊÓƵ community. If you need academic or campus accommodations, you should notify IRIS to start the process as soon as possible. The DRC works collaboratively with all individuals to to determine and provide appropriate accommodations.
Training Equipment & Supplies
You will need access to equipment and supplies during the onsite summer session. Items to bring with you:

Language Policy
IRIS Project is an inclusive and rich environment of interactions and learning for all participants. IRIS upholds that the shared language of our space together is ASL. All onsite programming will be in ASL with no spoken English interpretation.
Dress Code, Fragrance-Free Environments
The IRIS Project recognizes that we are all working professionals. While onsite, the dress code is business casual.
IRIS's shared spaces are Fragrance-free environments during training sessions
IRIS recognizes that when in a shared space individuals may have sensitivity and/or allergic reactions to various fragrant products. Personal fragrant products (fragrances, colognes, lotions, powders and other similar products) that are perceptible to others should not be worn while we are in session.
Survival Tips
This is an intensive program. You are in session all day interacting with peers and this might be the first in-person event you've attended for some time. You have left your home, job, and family/support people and this may be a challenging experience. The goal of the summer session is to provide you with the foundation you need to successfully complete this program.
